A good night’s sleep is the key to feeling your best. Are you getting enough rest?

Did you know that sleep is just as important as eating healthy and exercising? When you sleep, your body gets a chance to rest and recharge. This helps you wake up feeling fresh and ready for the day!

Why is sleep important?

Sleep helps your body and brain in many ways, such as:

How much sleep do you need?

The amount of sleep you need depends on your age:

  • Kids (6-12 years old): 9-12 hours
  • Teens (13-18 years old): 8-10 hours
  • Adults: 7-9 hours

Tips for a good night’s sleep

  • Go to bed at the same time every night
  • Turn off screens at least 30 minutes before bedtime
  • Exercise during the day
  • Keep your bedroom quiet, dark and cool
